Constitution - “The Constitution is not an instrument for the government to restrain the people, it is an instrument for the people to restrain the government — lest it come to dominate our lives and interests.” Patrick Henry.
Politics – The multitude of Obama administration scandals, and the ensuing cover-ups, have stained Obama’s reputation not because of their minor importance, but rather a corrupt media is willing to overlook massive malfeasance to benefit their allies in the Democrat Party.
Politics – The saddest development in this election is the support among the new generation of voters (“useful idiots”) for socialism, ignoring its history of failure and toll on human life.
Politics – Leftist movements begin with rebellion and end with conformity, and no Utopian movement can tolerate rebels for long because there is no room for dissent in paradise.
Politics – Gallup Poll found that only three states (Vermont, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts) have more respondents calling themselves liberal than conservative.
Scandals – The big government designs of Democrats have destroyed the notion of an impartial, professional civil service with partisan scandals such as at the DOJ, IRS, and EPA.
Politics - This week’s distractions from the economy, ObamaCare, and terrorism: Super Bowl half-time tribute to Black Panthers and women required to register with Selective Service.
Politics – As Hillary Clinton moves to the left to compete with the socialist, Bernie Sanders, they both criticize Barack Obama for “not being progressive enough” for the leftist agenda.
Politics – The New Hampshire primaries showed Bernie Sanders slaughtering the inevitable, Hillary Clinton, while Donald Trump won easily over a surprising John Kasich, Ted Cruz, who did better than expected, and Marco Rubio, who paid for his poor debate performance.
Politics – Despite losing the New Hampshire primary voting by 22 points, when you add in the “super-delegates, Hillary Clinton won the state by having more committed delegates.
Politics – Hillary Clinton has a sincerity problem because she has faked sincerity for so long, about so many things, she can’t really be sure if she’s being sincere.
Politics – It is not coincidental that the “Too Big To Fail” financial institutions are among Hillary Clinton’s biggest political patrons with a long record of crony capitalism and mutual support.
Politics – The question still remains when will the FBI indict Hillary Clinton for her multiple felony offenses and cover-ups: information security, political corruption, obstruction of justice?
Politics – A “willing suspension of disbelief” most aptly sums up Hillary Clinton’s disastrous 2016 primary campaign, which so far seems more disastrous than her 2008 disastrous campaign.
Politics – Listening to Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders talk about the need to rein in Wall Street, you’d never know Democrats passed the Dodd-Frank bill almost six years ago.
Media – The conventional wisdom is that Independent voters are disgruntled Democrats, but the vast majority of Independents are conservative and disappointed with both parties.
Constitution - “The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.” James Madison.
Economy – real GDP grows by 3% or more this year, Obama will be the first President elected since 1930 not to see a single year of real 3% GDP growth during his time in office.
Finance – The Fed’s long-standing monetary policy is to achieve an annual rate of price inflation of 2% in consumer prices which amounts to an additional 2% tax on all Americans.
Budget – President Obama’s budget proposal was “dead on arrival” as the first $4 trillion budget, headed to $5 trillion four years later and then $6 trillion four years after that.
Property – If the federal government returns land in the West to the states, it will cause better environmental stewardship, lower management costs, and an increase in productivity.
Transportation – Obama’s call for electric vehicles has been a huge failure because it is not an economically viable technology even propped up by federal subsidies and credits.
Energy – Obama’s budget proposal contained a new $10 a barrel tax on oil consumed in the United States, which would mean an extra $0.24 a gallon increase – also dead on arrival.
Environment – Obama’s claim that 2015 was the hottest year on record is a lie, because flawed ground gauges were refuted by all the other gauges, that reflected no change.
Crime – In Chicago, the ACLU has negotiated the need for a two page information sheet on every stop of a suspect, resulting in less stops and “disparate impact” falling on crime victims.
Religion – It is not Christians and Jews who are scheming to defy our Constitution, but rather it is Muslims who are demanding accommodations for their religious requirements.
Constitution - “The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks.” Samuel Adams.
GWOT – High Level Military Group, composed of former senior level officers from the US, UK, India, Australia, France, Spain and Columbia, is studying unconventional warfare to identify what changes countries should undertake to be victorious in asynchronous warfare.
GWOT – Obama’s portrayal of Islam “always being a part of America” is quickly disproven by the fact that the oldest Islamic mosque is less than 100 years old.
Military – The last time America decisively won a war and achieved all their objectives was World War II, because of overly-restrictive rules of engagement and meddling politicians.
Military – Women’s right to compete on merit for all military jobs carries responsibility to perform in all jobs must also be subject to Selective Service draft in case of emergency.
Venezuela – In socialist Venezuela, there are shortages of food, medicine, diapers, and toilet paper and the country with large oil reserves is importing oil – is this the U.S. in the future?
