Musings on the Week
Musings on the Week
March 4, 2017
Freedom – “Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. This is a most valuable - a most sacred right - a right, which we hope and believe, is to liberate the world.” Abraham Lincoln.
Politics – Donald Trump surprised everyone with his first address to Congress by acting Presidential and was rewarded by voters overwhelmingly rating his speech positively.
Politics – Racist whites teamed up with illegal aliens on the Democrat National Committee to elect an Obama lackey and reject a heavily favored black Muslim candidate for DNC chair.
Politics – Democrats “never forget and never learn” doubling down on identity politics, victimhood and socialism while refusing to acknowledge Islam declared War on America.
Politics – Democrat blacks are not black; they are first and foremost liberals who seek power via government control and dependency, selling their souls for a government check.
Politics – The “manufactured fits of rage” at Republican Town Halls are a well-coordinated effort nationally to disrupt communication between representatives and their constituents.
Politics – The Tea Party and the Resistance are opposites: The Tea Party is about love of God, country, and neighbor, respect for the rule of law; while the Resistance is animated by hate of America and those with whom they disagree, and disrespect for the rule of law.
Politics – Now that the Washington protesters have been charged with felony rioting, it is time to indict Organizing for Action (OFA) under RICO for sabotage and sedition.
Media – Trump will stop attacking the “fake” media when they report facts as facts, opinions as opinions, and select stories based on completeness and not on a partisan narrative.
Media – Finally the mainstream media is suffering the consequences of their partisan “fake news” actions, as the White House has begun restricting their access to press briefings.
Media – When will we stop listening to the same media that predicted Hillary would win by landslide that Trump is not popular, that the thousands that show up for rallies don’t really like him, and nobody believes his vision or policies will work as he predicts?
Media – It is only a matter of time until the fake news and negativity begins to clear and business results reflect the positive changes made and American optimism rebounds.
Media – Spirit of America rallies are happening across the nation, demonstrating that the mainstream media once again totally misses mainstream America satisfaction and optimism.
Freedom – “If you want total security, go to prison. There you're fed, clothed, given medical care and so on. The only thing lacking... is freedom.” Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Government – Trump has created and mandated regulatory reform task forces to identify and recommend for elimination, rules deemed to hinder American progress and economy.
Healthcare – ObamaCare has not changed since the election: healthcare has degraded, people still want it repealed, and politicians were elected based on promises to repeal.
Healthcare – The American people have been lied to, bamboozled, and swindled by fork-tongued liberals and “fake” conservatives, so no more ObamaCare room – REPEAL IT NOW!
Environment – Another study found the cycle of changes in the climate over the millennia is a result of changes in the amount of solar radiation, in part to small changes in Earth orbit.
Immigration – United States immigration has been successful when immigrants assimilated quickly into the American population to build a cohesive society.
Immigration – President Trump is only against illegal immigration, not legal immigration, and the media has equated the two in a “fake news” narrative to undermine the President.
Election – A majority of Americans believe Russia interfered in the 2016 election by hacking the Democrat National Committee emails and Gmail account of John Podesta, but there is still no proof that hacking had any impact on any election results!
Sexuality - Sex change is biologically impossible, since ex-reassignment surgery does not change one sex into another, but rather create feminized men or masculinized women.
Civil Rights – Biologically, there is only one race of humans, but race has become a social construct derived mainly from perceptions conditioned by events of recorded history.
Crime – Last November California authorized early release of felons whose crimes were deemed nonviolent, which included assault with a deadly weapon, battery with serious injury, solicitation to vomit murder, rape of an unconscious person and burglary of a home.
Freedom – “America is a Nation with a mission - and that mission comes from our most basic beliefs. We have no desire to dominate, no ambitions of empire. Our aim is a democratic peace - a peace founded upon the dignity and rights of every man and woman.” George W. Bush.
Trade – Tariffs and protectionism are counter-productive and should disappear down the black hole of bad ideas, but trade agreements should be renegotiated to be America First.
UN – Since 2006, the UN Human Rights Council passed no less than 60 resolutions against Israel, and in 2016 along, no less than 20 were passed including 10 on a single day.
Defense – In 2016, 16% of all women aboard naval vessels were pregnant, requiring transfer off the vessel without replacement after the 20th week of pregnancy, impacting readiness.
GWOT – Hopefully General Mattis can convince General McMaster to finally declare War on Islamic Fundamentalists, so we can stop playing “whack-a-mole” country by country.
GWOT – Now that the Guantanamo Bay prison has been nearly emptied, there is plenty of room to house hardcore global terrorists who can be interrogated at length.
