Politics – Gold Star families should be honored for their sacrifice, but Gold Star status does not make their opinions on any issues immune from political criticism.
Scandals – A federal court ruled that the IRS has not yet demonstrated that officials stopped targeting Tea Party and exhibited “discriminatory” treatment of conservative organizations.
Scandals – The highly politicized Department of Justice denied FBI requests to investigate the Clinton Foundation, aiding and abetting influence selling at the highest levels.
Media – During the Olympic opening ceremonies, NBC earned a new acronym of Nothing But Commercials.
Politics - This week’s distractions from the economy, ObamaCare, and terrorism: genetically modified mosquitoes to fight zika in Florida and gender confused athletes at Rio Olympics.
Politics – Voting one’s conscience means voting on issues not temperament: Supreme Court Justices, economic policies, taxes, trade, energy, environment, immigration, terrorism, etc.
Politics – With the major disillusionment of the American voters, it is a possible that in a four person Presidential race between Democrat Clinton, Republican Trump, Libertarian Johnson, and Green Party Stein that the race could be won by as little as 40% of the popular vote.
Politics – Barack Obama proclaimed Hillary Clinton as qualified as he was to be President, which is nothing to brag about since he was the least qualified President ever elected.
Politics - Everything Hillary has ever touched has failed, been engulfed in scandal, resulted in massive investigations, litigation, financial ruin, prison or death and the final stage of any Hillary enterprise is a grand announcement that Hillary did not technically break the law.
Politics – Hillary Clinton’s scandal strategy has always been to deny, obfuscate, obstruct, and cover-up long enough for the public to lose interest and move on to more current issues.
Politics –Americans spend the last 8 years being called racists every time they disagreed with Obama, do you really want to be called sexist every time you disagree with Hillary?
Politics – Trump is the pro-growth candidate, expanding the economic pie and incomes, while Clinton is the anti-growth candidate, shrinking the pie and redistributing incomes.
Politics – The mainstream media is still selling their partisan polls that show a Clinton landslide, and ignore any and all polls that find a reality that does not support their liberal narrative.
Politics – Republican critics are more disturbed by Trump’s crude rhetoric more than Clinton’s long catalogue of policy mistakes, her long history of lying, and blatant abuse of power.
Politics – After defections by RINOs and Never-Trump zealots, the silent, disgruntled middle class will surprise the pollsters by voting for the outsider, Trump, over the insider, Clinton.
Media – Democrats and the liberal media use polls to manipulate and discourage conservatives from voting, but social media sees Trump demolishing Hillary in a landslide.
Racism - “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation to all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.” Theodore Roosevelt.
Economy – 93% of U.S. counties still have not fully recovered from the recession when factoring in job creation, unemployment rate, GDP, and median home prices.
Economy – Market analysts are trumpeting “better-than-expected” earnings reflecting lowered expectations since aggregate earnings-per-share are on course to decline 3.5%.
Jobs – Increasing minimum wage forces employers to either hire fewer people or give workers fewer hours, as customers end up paying steeper prices.
Regulation – The Obama Administration owns the record for most major regulations, 600 and counting, released imposing a cost of $743 billion or $2,294 on every American.
Housing – The Census Bureau reported that the U.S. homeownership rate dropped to 62.9% in the second quarter of 2016, back to a rate of half a century ago.
Environment – The UN climate change group (IPCC) confessed that the ultimate goal of climate change is really redistribution of wealth and the destruction of capitalism.
Environment - The 1,168 mile long Dakota Access (Bakken) Pipeline has been approved to cross four states and carry 450,000 barrels of oil a day to connect North Dakota to refineries.
Civil Rights – “Critical Race Theory” is based on a false assumption that racism is engrained in the fabric and system of American society and is being indoctrinated in our schools.
Crime – The DOJ report on the Baltimore police drew conclusions without any “evidence” to support them, further polarizing our national dialogue and demonizing police officers.
Racism – “They (his parents) weren’t coming (to America) to raise ‘Indian-Americans. They were coming to raise Americans.” Bobby Jindal.
GWOT - Islam is a politico-expansionist movement disguised as a religion using whatever means it can devise: deception (taqiyya), social and cultural infiltration, or bloody violence.
GWOT – Barack Obama is a man who continues to insist military action is not the answer to defeating terrorism, but continues to commit American forces in an awful lot of places.
Venezuela – When governments reduce economic freedom, first under crony capitalism and then under crony socialism, the government ends up redistributing poverty.
