Musings on the Week

                                                                                              September 29, 2018

Innovation – " New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not already common."  John Locke.

Politics – Liberalism has become the hippie generation’s religion of lies, sex, drugs, and rock’n’roll, and, worst of all, the home of the Green Movement with their bogus man-made global warming, and the headquarters of the anti-American socialist Left.

Politics – Each day the deep state trumpets its superior claim to govern, but each day they discredit themselves by their behavior and undermine the nation’s reputation.

Politics – The agenda of balkanizing America into tribes, and white/nonwhite binaries, and galvanizing the rich and poor against the middle class was Obama’s only real legacy.

Politics – The November election choice has never been easier as the Democrats will say anything, do anything, and promise anything to regain political power, no matter the cost.

Politics – Democrats are going to find out that one of the problems with lying is that when you make it a habit, even you don’t know where the truth ends and your fictions begin.

Politics – Democrats have developed a losing anti-American party platform for 2018 (and probably 2020): Impeach Trump, Open Borders and Amnesty, Guaranteed Make-Work Jobs, Raise Taxes (Redistribute Wealth), Confiscate Guns, and Provide Abortion Anytime.

Politics – Far-left activists, such as Antifa and Red Guards, have in recent months become more militant inviting violent actions in their rhetoric on websites and social media.

Politics – All of the Kavanaugh accusations cannot be substantiated lacking any physical evidence or corroboration, but that does not diminish their political obstruction value.

Politics – The Supreme Court nomination process has confused Democrats, who claim due process and presumption of innocence do not apply to Kavanaugh (liberal Bizarro logic).

Politics – Leftists have new recruits, “suicide accusers”, who sacrifice their credibility and reputation to make false political allegations to promote the leftist agenda.

Politics – Democrats have gone overboard in trying to demonize Brett Kavanaugh that they risk a backlash from upstanding men and women who love them.

Politics – Democrats have “jumped the shark with few Americans believing them anymore, and their antics causing the #WalkAway movement to become a #RunAway movement.

Politics – All this talk about the “Blue Wave” is trash talk, designed to convince the Democrat base to turn out to vote and discourage the Republican base from wasting their time voting.

Politics – President Trump said there is a “lingering stench” of cover-up in the DOJ and FBI, and until the “deep state” is rooted out trust in the government will continue to plummet.

Politics – Americans do NOT want Republicans who will work with Democrats; we want Republicans who will work against Democrats because they do not work for America.

Media – No one is talking about that President Obama could only assemble 700 supporters to his speech, while President Trump had to turn away supporters after 20,000 came to his rally.

Equality – "All men by nature are equal in that equal right that every man hath to his natural freedom, without being subjected to the will or authority of any other man; being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions.” John Locke.

Economy – The United States has rebounded in global ranking from #11 back up to #6 in the “Economic Freedom of the World because of tax reforms and regulation reductions.

Economy – Over the last 100 years the American economy has begun a long incremental shift from free market capitalism to socialism with inroads into one industry after another.

Economy – When Trump was elected, Democrats predicted economic “doom and gloom” and fortunately none of these predictions came true, destroying the last of their credibility.

Budget – Congress has little interest in fighting for conservative priorities in the budget, with no attempt to balance the budget and continued use of omnibus spending bills.

Elections – A secure mobile voting application that allows voters to receive, vote, and return their ballots electronically using blockchain technology is being piloted in West Virginia.

Freedom – “Whenever legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people, who are thereupon absolved from any further obedience.” John Locke.

South Africa – White genocide in South Africa is the result of a lethal combination of black racism and the imposition of communism into a formerly democratic country.
