Musings on the Week

Trust – “If once you forfeit the confidence of your fellow-citizens, you can never regain their respect and esteem.” Abraham Lincoln.
Politics – Democrats somehow believe their impeachment fantasy could remove Donald Trump from office and install Hillary Clinton into office, despite the Constitutional process.
Politics – The paranoid, delusional Democrat “resistance” are the sore-loser whiners who refuse to accept the reality that they lost the Presidential election, and no amount of extra-legal actions will manufacture impeachable crimes to change the Constitutional result.
Politics – Sean Hannity laments that the Republican Party is “morally corrupt” and “dead” but I believe it is being remade by President Trump back into a party “of the people, by the people, for the people” not ruled by the party elite, but lead by the people’s best interests.
Politics – The only “crime” that the Russia election collusion probe has found is that Trump won the election, because no other crime has been uncovered after years of investigation.
Politics – A more insidious finding from the Russia election collusion probe is evidence that the FBI conspired to protect Hillary Clinton and undermine Donald Trump in the election.
Politics – One day soon Republicans need to focus on defeating their Democrat opponents rather than shooting themselves in the foot by politically destroying weak GOP candidates.
Media – It is ironic that the liberal mainstream media is quick to criticize the President’s performance, but thinks they themselves are above criticism and any received is bullying.
Media – Ratings tell us that it is time to remove CNN from Airports, etc. since it has forfeit its reputation as the default objective news source, and replace it with Fox News.
Media – Once again media election polls cannot predict results with a spread in Alabama showing everything from a 9 point lead for Moore to a 10 point advantage for Jones!
Trust – “If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.” .Ronald Reagan.
Economy – The Democrat monopoly alarmists fear the concentration of power in the free market, but are blind to the fact that government monopolies can be even worse.
Internet – Net Neutrality has been repealed allowing companies that build and maintain the infrastructure to charge more, basing prices on free market supply and demand!
Deficits – Until Congress addresses the impending bankruptcy of entitlements, all criticism of tax reform and omnibus spending bills is just a distraction with no real impact on the problem.
Civil Rights – Liberals are finally waking up to the divisive and destructive nature of identity politics, which is the ideological centerpiece of American liberalism.
Civil Rights – 91% of Democrats vs. 12% of Republicans agree that President Trump is racially biased against people of color, which defines a racial divide today really a partisan divide.
Sexuality – Democrats hate to be held to the same standards as the common folks, so forgive me if I have no sympathy for all the liberals being outed as sexual predators.
Trust – “Trust, but Verify." Ronald Reagan.
Foreign Policy – The Secretary of State is cleaning house in the State Department, removing long entrenched staff who pursue their own agenda independent of the President’s policies.
GWOT – Islamic doctrine as recorded in the faith’s holiest texts mandates jihad upon all infidels until all mankind (across the globe) is under the domination of Allah.
GWOT – Until the United States formally declares War on Islamic Extremism, victory cannot be achieved due to inexact definition and interim battles such as ISIS mis-defined as victory.
Iraq – The Sunni Muslim Islamic State caliphate, including its 30,000 Muslims from 100 countries, have been driven out of Iraq by the Iraqi army.
