The reports of Trump’s imminent demise have been near-constant ever since he came down the Trump Tower escalator in June of 2015.  Those predictions have been nonstop, and always wrong.  His is turning out to be an enormously consequential presidency.  Despite frustrations over his missteps, there has never been a day when I wished Hillary Clinton were president.  Indeed, as Trump’s accomplishments accumulate, the mere thought of Clinton in the White House, doubling down on Barack Obama’s failed policies, washes away any doubts that America made the right choice.  This was truly a change election, and the changes Trump is bringing are far-reaching and necessary.  The economic boom is the most obvious difference voters got by electing him.  The tax law he campaigned on, fought for and signed promises to add new dimensions to the boom and should fuel growth and new opportunities for millions of people.  Generations of families will lead better lives as a result, while a Clinton presidency would have been an orgy of regulations aimed at strangling capitalism’s last animal spirits.  The Trump effect is not limited to the economy.  Think of the difference between Neil Gorsuch and a Supreme Court Justice Clinton would have picked, now multiply that difference throughout the judicial food chain.  Think of Trump’s policy toward Israel.  He finally recognized the capital as Jerusalem.  Like Obama, she would have given the Palestinians a heckler’s veto, and paid them millions more for their obstinance.  In North Korea, Trump’s taunting of Rocket Man makes me uneasy, but the big difference is that he refuses to accept a nuclear North Korea.  Clinton, on the other hand, would have adopted the Obama policy of “containment,” which is a diplomatic fig leaf for appeasing a madman with nukes.  In Iran, Clinton shared Obama’s fantasy that there are “moderates” among the mullahs eager to play nice, so she backed the nuclear deal that is helping to finance Iranian war and aggression in the mideast.  Similarly, Clinton probably would have repeated Obama’s 2009 mistake and remained silent during the current demonstrations against the regime, while Trump is making it clear America stands with the demonstrators.  If Clinton had been elected, we would not know that top FBI leaders conspired against Trump to help her.  Her financing of the Russian dossier would still be a secret, and there would be no knowledge that the FBI used her dirtiest trick to spy on Trump associates.  Russian collusion would have been accepted as fact without a shred of evidence.  Even with Trump in the White House and Republicans controlling Congress, getting the truth about the deep state’s political meddling is proving difficult.  With Clinton in the White House, there would be no search and the truth of what looks like an unprecedented scandal would remain hidden forever.  Likewise, Clinton as president would face no further scrutiny over the classified e-mail mess despite the rigged FBI probe that cleared her.  The revived examination of her pay-to-play arrangements as secretary of state would never have been considered.  With Bill and Hillary in the White House, the New York Times would never have outed Harvey Weinstein as the sexual monster he seems to be, because it would have embarrassed the Clintons and their own sketchy past on the subject.  In that case, the #MeToo movement would not exist and the predators, most of them media and Hollywood liberals, would still be in power.  These are just some of the many reasons why a Trump presidency, chaos and all, continues to be the course correction America needed.  Here’s hoping, then, that the latest predictions of Trump’s demise, like all those that came before, turn out to be premature.

Liberals spew nothing but hate for Trump and all people who love America.  The liberal media has spent every waking hour broadcasting for the last year all the hate, bile, and sludge they can dredge up from the bowels of their psyches to throw at President Donald Trump in order to assassinate his character in the minds of the American people.  Their lies and smears only take root in their base of brainless liberals, who will believe whatever they are told regardless of the proof before their own eyes and ears, makes them even more insane.  Liberals hold authority in contempt.  They call police pigs, and say of teachers, “those who cannot do, teach.”  Their dysfunctional thinking always leads to one result, developing an ideology of victimhood that breeds a heart of greed and a soul of envy.  Such people who do not have what they want always resent those who do.  They become hateful declaring that if they can’t have it then no one can.  Leftists live in a world in which their own reality is dual opposites existing side-by-side and they rationalize this dichotomy as if it’s normal and logical when it is anything but.  Leftist liberalism is the negative pole of political ideology.  American liberal Democrats smear anyone who succeeds in business, prospers, and creates jobs.  From the founding of the nation Democrats have always been the party that promotes dependency on elites, from slavery to Robber Barons to gangster crime bosses to corrupt government overlords.  They always take more from the working people, either in labor or taxes or demanding votes from their welfare deadbeats, than they will ever give back.  Republicans have always fought against their corruption and promoted freedom for people to prosper from their own labor.  It is Democrats who wanted a king to rule over the people rather than a president subject to the will of the people.  Righteous Americans were taught to admire achievers, while the greedy, envious Left resents them.  They are the people who live their lives in a state of having their glass always being half empty.  They are never proud of others for their achievements, but resentful for them for excelling beyond themselves.  Yet they are not willing to make the effort to better themselves.  With liberalism it doesn’t matter what you do, how right you are, or what you achieve.  For example, when Trump lowers taxes they do not credit him with helping the middle class save money from government waste.  They claim he is taking from them and giving to the rich.  When they tell lies about Trump their two-faced reality is truly exposed!  You are always damned if you do and damned if you don’t with liberals.  They will complain if they don’t have work to do and then complain if they have to do work.  Two-faced liberalism goes far beyond the rational thinking of the reasonable person.  They say they are patriots but demand policies that override the Constitution to tear down the country rather than build it up.  They see America as the problem rather than the solution to the ills of the world.  They say they are compassionate but would happily destroy the half of the population that refuses to submit to them.  They say they are knowledgeable but don’t know the history of the socialist ideology they endorse.  They say they are learned but don’t know the science they claim others reject.  They believe their own lies in claiming Trump didn’t want to be president, but stole the election by colluding with Putin, make sense.  Only in liberalism can you find two opposing beliefs to be held as true, especially when both have been proven to be complete lies.  Liberals do not care for right and wrong, truth and lies, justice and corruption, only what they can use to drag down those they see as their enemies, which is anyone who stands up for right, truth, and justice.  Their idea of justice is not what is morally right, but that which benefits them.  Their entire campaign to steal the election from Trump and anoint Hillary is exposed in their constant hateful smears of Trump claiming he is deranged, stupid, a rapist, and stole an election he didn’t want to win.  The truth that rules over these lies is that Donald Trump is a genius self-made billionaire who built a great real estate empire.  The truth over these lies is that he is fully in command and capable of being a great leader and a great president and is doing so on a daily basis.  The truth over these lies is that in their witch hunt investigation into the non-existent Russian collusion they are charging Trump supporters with any crime they can invent, and they are trying to charge Trump with obstructing an investigation into a crime that doesn’t exist!  Liberals say it doesn’t matter if something is factually true, just so long as the notion of what they believe is true is presented as the truth.  But that’s not where this duplicity ends.  It goes far beyond this, beyond our atmosphere, beyond our solar system, and into the galaxy.  There are people who believe President Trump will end all life on the planet by letting Americans mine and burn coal.  The party that says they are the party of science isn’t even the party of science fiction.  They are the party of religious fanaticism that does not believe in God but creates their own.  They fear that Trump is taking lightly a pot-bellied megalomaniac who believes having a nuclear weapon makes him all-powerful.  Trump is standing courageously in the face of everything the Left is throwing at him and they call it hubris.

President Trump’s economic boom is undeniably underway which means that the Left will grow increasingly strident and desperate in the lead-up to this year’s midterm congressional elections and beyond.  The better things go under Trump, the more looney the Left becomes.  Left-wingers need something new to excite their base but they’re not likely to find it anytime soon.  They’re going to recycle the same old garbage.  Despite potentially the ensnaring of a handful of people in FBI perjury traps, the crazy Trump-Russia electoral collusion conspiracy theory is going nowhere.  The lies in the Fusion GPS dossier aren’t helping the Left move the needle toward impeaching Trump.  These people are back to the bogus sexual harassment allegations and the claims that Trump is mentally incompetent that conveniently emerged during the 2016 campaign.  Richard Wolff’s wacky tell-all book is being attacked even on the Left and Wolff comes across as emotionally disturbed and malicious in TV interviews.  President Trump has recently been doing victory laps for his economic accomplishments, as well he should.  African American unemployment is the lowest ever recorded in our country.  The Hispanic unemployment rate dropped a full point in the last year and is close to the lowest in recorded history.  The stock market keeps setting new records and the dramatic correction bearish forecasters keep warning us about never seems to come.  Trump has dramatically outperformed Obama in the first year of their respective presidencies, according to the most widely used measure of stock market strength, the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA).  With corporate tax rates falling and job-killing regulations being dismantled daily, corporations are hiring more workers and giving current employees bonuses, a fact that has driven many leftists stark raving mad.  Construction jobs are up and the manufacturing sector is strengthening.  Wages are beginning to rise after eight years of anemic growth under Obama.  Trump’s tax reforms, the largest overhaul of the tax system in decades, promises economic growth for years to come.  The tax legislation reduces corporate and personal income tax rates, increases the child tax credit, doubles the estate tax exemption, repeals ObamaCare’s hated individual mandate, and opens part of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) to energy exploration.  The Heritage Foundation projects the legislation will increase the level of gross domestic product in the long run by 2.2%.  The tax reforms are causing apoplexy and aneurysms on the Left where allowing people to keep their own hard-earned money is heresy.  Anything that tends to roll back government power is a threat to left-wingers who are happiest when bossing other people around.  Nothing is more frightening to leftists than economic freedom, and as President Trump’s economic policies take hold, the Left has every reason to be frightened.

(“Trump’s Economy Booming” by Matthew Vadum dated January 9, 2018 published by Front Page Magazine at https://www.frontpagemag.com/fpm/268967/trumps-economy-booming-matthew-vadum )

2018 is a midterm election year, and typically the party that holds the White House gets thrashed in the midterms, but just the opposite will happen this year for several reasons.  The first reason is that tax reform is going to work spectacularly with Trump’s deregulation to finally restore booming economic growth of four percent a year or more.  Just like President John F. Kennedy’s tax cuts in the 1960s and President Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts in the 1980s, the critical tax rate cuts in the 2017 tax reform legislation will result in skyrocketing investment, flooding job creation, surging wages, swelling labor supply, rocking business expansion, rolling business creation and booming growth.  That will result in part because tax reform cuts taxes on the middle class and working people directly, which the Democrat-controlled media has strived mightily to keep secret.  Even bigger for middle class and working people is the cut in the federal corporate rate from 35 to 21%.  Experience and the latest economic studies confirm that roughly 80% of corporate income taxes are actually paid by workers in the form of lost wages and jobs.  That’s because in today’s global economy, capital is freer than families are to move across international borders.  America’s formerly outdated corporate tax rates averaged nearly 40%, counting state corporate taxes, roughly double Asia’s 20.1% and Europe’s 18.9%.  Other countries worldwide have been cutting their corporate tax rates for decades, creating this crippling tax disadvantage.  Those countries responded to global competition and the latest economic studies showing that workers in modern economies actually bear most of the corporate and business tax burden.  America is falling behind the times, crippled by socialist media and misleading Democrat rhetoric.  This is why tax reform focused on cutting corporate and business taxes, bravely doing the right thing for working people and the middle class.  Too many voters do not understand this because the Democrat-controlled media won’t tell them.  Besides the tax cuts, the boom will also result from the expensing of capital investment (immediate deduction, replacing depreciation over many years), territoriality in taxation of overseas investment, and repatriation (bringing back to America trillions held overseas by American companies).  Investment will flow into America, just as it did under Kennedy and Reagan.  This economic boom will boost Republican candidates by November, all the more because not one Democrat voted for the tax reform.  The boom will also rapidly nullify any increase in the deficit, with further help from spending restraint, further boosting Republicans.  Democrats will surely be hurt when voters realize that they and their media lied to them about tax reform.  Blue collar workers and the middle class will see their taxes decline, and the fabrications about over 80% of the tax benefits going to the top 1% will be disrobed.  The realization that Democrats and their media were wrong about tax reform and Trump’s deregulation will spread across America.  Voters will see that Democrats don’t understand economics and consequently aren’t able to represent working people and the middle class, who want jobs and higher wages.  For over 200 years, Americans have voted for economic growth, not the Democrat Party’s model of higher taxes and redistribution trying to buy votes.  The sharp contrast between Trump’s boom and Obama’s stagnation over the last decade will help Republicans and hurt Democrats.  The Democrat record of less than 2% average real growth is the worst recovery from a recession since the Great Depression.  Trump’s energy deregulation will further boost the boom, as America takes its place as the world’s number one producer of oil, natural gas and coal.  Democrat extremism over debunked and falsified global warming hysterics will further sink Democrats, while Republicans will ride even faster growth.  Democrat failure will affect even blue states, which will suffer continued stagnation as Democrats resist cutting radically high taxes, and state tax revolts will further benefit brave and articulate Republicans, even in these places.

(“America’s Booming Economy Will Smash Democrats in 2018” by Peter Ferrara dated January 3, 2018 published by Observer at http://observer.com/2018/01/tax-reform-booming-economy-will-smash-democrats-in-2018-elections/ )

Yes, President Trump is “Making America Great Again,” but more importantly, he’s also “Making America Rich Again.”  What’s telling is how desperate Democrats are to stop Trump.  They’re actually angry that his plan is working.  They’re angry the economy is booming.  They’re openly rooting for President Trump to fail.  Which means they’re openly rooting against America… rooting against success… rooting against prosperity…and rooting for the economy to fail.  I have the perfect slogan for Democrats in 2018 and 2020: “Making America Miserable Again.”  Look at the results Democrats are angry about: The Dow Jones average just had the greatest year in history; it’s up 5000 points in one year for the first time ever; it’s up 35% since Trump’s election.  Trump added 1.9 million jobs since taking office.  Over 160 million Americans are working for the first time in history, and these aren’t low paying jobs like the ones Obama created.  ADP reported 40,000 new high-paying manufacturing jobs in November- the most in history.  Then there’s GDP.  The US economy is growing at a 4% clip in the 4th quarter, and 2.9% for Trump’s first year.  Overall GDP just hit $19.5 trillion, the highest in history, and it keeps getting better… Christmas retail sales were up 4.9%, retail sales hit over $800 billion for the first time in history, and retail stocks surged.  Consumer confidence hit the highest level in 17 years.  The US private sector added 250,000 jobs in December, far above the estimates.  Job cut announcements in 2017 were the lowest since 1990.  The “Trump Miracle” is in full effect.  It’s common sense, and here are the details:

·    Elect a brilliant business genius as president, someone who had spent his life creating jobs and building billion dollar brands. Find a showman, with a bigger than life personality.

·    Build his campaign around saving the middle class.  Go read, “The Murder of the Middle Class” or “Angry White Male.”

·    Have that president celebrate businessmen & women as HEROES. Make it clear taxpayers will be rewarded, not punished.

·    Cut taxes dramatically, and create a special tax break for small business owners.

·    Cut regulations the most in history.

·    Kill the DC Swamp: cut the size, scope and power of government. Reign in the IRS. Cut the number of government employees.

·    Allow companies to bring all their offshore money back to the USA.

·    Trade policies should be AMERICA FIRST.  Stop letting China and Mexico take advantage of the USA.

·    Kill climate change & global warming regulations.

·    Encourage tons of oil drilling. Drill, baby drill, because cheap fossil fuels will save the great American middle class by cutting energy prices.

·    Build a wall and secure our border. Stop allowing all these people from other countries into America to take our jobs and lower our wages.

·    Kill ObamaCare. Government fails at everything it touches. Check out Amtrak, and DMV.

President Trump was right out of Central Casting for what would win a presidential election and supercharge the economy.  He did everything this small businessman ever recommended.   Just as I always promised, we could make America rich again, if we got the mainstream media, socialist politicians and jack-booted government bureaucrats out of the way.  Trump has proven all of this.  Donald Trump is “Making America Rich Again.”

(“Making America Rich Again” by Wayne Allyn Root dated January 5, 2018 published by The Gateway Pundit at http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2018/01/wayne-allyn-root-making-america-rich/ )

To paraphrase Mark Twain, reports of the death of the GOP majorities in Congress are greatly exaggerated.  Come 2019, I expect Republicans to remain in control of both the House and Senate.  The left-leaning mainstream media, emboldened by the “Never Trumpers,” have been eagerly awaiting a Republican collapse.  For example, Politico has warned President Trump of a “2018 bloodbath,” suggesting the midterms could be “the worst” in history for Republicans.  The Hill has predicted that the November midterms are the Democrats’ “best chance in years to win back (the) House.”  Washington Post reporters gleefully anticipate a “politically difficult 2018” for the White House.  The left-wing Salon not only proclaimed Democrat Doug Jones’ recent election to the Senate from Alabama was “a very bad sign for the GOP” but also said it was the first indication of a “blue wave” of Democrat victories ready to turn Republicans into the minority party in Congress.  The anti-Trump “resistance” points to President Trump’s approval rating, which is on the rise and the incumbent party’s historical struggles after winning a presidential election.  The Washington establishment class and so-called political “experts” dismiss President Trump at their own peril.  The president and his party sit on many structural advantages that the liberal media conveniently ignore.  The first and perhaps most important advantage is fundraising.  The Republican National Committee (RNC) raised a reported $130 million in 2017, more than twice the Democrat National Committee’s (DNC) haul.  Much of it came from digital fund-raising, as the RNC added more than 1 million email addresses in the last quarter of 2017 alone.  Even if the Democrats begin catching up, the Trump machine will turn on the low-dollar digital spigot and turn the GOP fundraising advantage into election victories.  But catching up is the least of Democrats’ concerns.  The DNC currently is buried under millions of dollars of debt after years of financial mismanagement under former Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Hillary Clinton.  While the RNC breaks records and invests in the 2018 campaign, the DNC is scrambling to pay off its debt.  Second, the Republican fundraising edge suggests a reinvigorated political base, which has historically turned out in droves for midterm elections when Democrats have stayed home.  According to a recent Pew poll, more than three-quarters of Republicans approve of President Trump, including an overwhelming majority of evangelical voters.  Recent polling does not even account for the expected bump from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which has already spurred Boeing, Comcast and other companies to set aside billions of dollars in private investment.  As hiring increases and paychecks swell, Republicans will certainly reap electoral benefits after passing tax cuts without Democrat support.  In this year’s midterm elections, the key for President Trump and the Republican Party is to leverage the bully pulpit and control the messaging, reminding voters that the president’s pro-growth agenda delivers real-world benefits.  If President Trump provides his backing early to the right candidates and unifies the Republican Party with a winning message of more jobs, stronger borders and an “America First” foreign policy, the November election results will shock the “experts,” just like in 2016.  From the increasingly popular tax bill and a roaring stock market to ISIS' decline, pro-Trump Republicans have plenty to run and win on this year.  While the talking heads will invoke historical precedents for a Republican wipeout, even The New York Times acknowledges Democrat voters have middling interest in midterm elections.  According to Upshot analysis, Republicans were 20% likelier to vote than Democrats in 2010 and 2014.  Finally, the 2018 electoral map charts very unfriendly territory for Democrat incumbents who must compete in districts and states carried by President Trump. This year’s map has a number of realistic targets for Republican challengers.  For all these reasons, I believe Republicans will keep control of Congress this year, and they will prove the anti-Trump media and political establishment wrong once again.
