Barack Obama is the 44th President and, while we have had incompetent Presidents in the past, we have never had a President determined to destroy the nation. Voters across America are fed up with Washington's behavior, don't believe representatives are getting the message and may just respond with demands for a constitutional amendment that would wrap duct tape around the profligate spending habits in government, according to a new poll. It has taken more than two years for most sentient Americans to grasp this extraordinary threat. He has not solved problems; he has exacerbated them. President Obama, aside from blaming Bush for everything that has occurred on his watch, literally tripled the national debt with dubious and failed “stimulus” programs, plunging the nation into debt that rivals all others in our history. Meanwhile the mainstream media has utterly debased itself, sounding more like the state monopolies of fascist nations. They supported Obama’s election so much that they crossed a cultural line into myth-making. Moderation is not a word anyone would apply to the Obama administration. Obama’s dwindling “likeability gap” has severely eroded over time. Voters jumped onto the bandwagon for GOP candidates in 2010 in Congress to send a message of restrained spending and no more borrowing, and now find that Washington hasn't been listening all that well. “Obama.2008” was engaging, patient, open, optimistic, and a self-identified conciliator. “Obama.2011” has been something else: testy, petulant, impatient, arrogant and increasingly a divider. By April 2011, Gallup reported that “Barack Obama’s approval among the poorest Americans dropped to an all-time low of 48%…leaving the President with less-than-majority approval among all income brackets reported in Gallup’s Presidential approval surveys.” Rasmussen polling showed the same numbers. For all of the denigration the so-called TEA Party members have suffered in the past two years at the hands of the Democrats, the idea that Americans are 'Taxed Enough Already' – the core complaint of the tea partiers – clearly resonates across the country. The backlash that could sweep across Capitol Hill and 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue next year may stem from government's failure to take bold steps. It is not beyond the realm of the possible that Barack Obama may find himself with increasing difficulty in the remaining 600 days of his first and likely last term in office.

Americans are greatly misinformed when it comes to socialism and communism and Winston Churchill said it best, “socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” Socialism is ownership and control by the government of the means of production and of distribution. This is the first stage following capitalism in the transition to communism. During this stage, according to Marxist theory, collectivism is implemented imperfectly. Communism, the ultimate utopia, refines this process. Nobody shares anything under communism except misery and poverty, except for the ruling elite. Although communism is described in textbooks as having no classes, in reality there were two: the proletariat (the majority) and the ruling elite (communist party members). The “creeping socialism” that Ronald Reagan, Dwight Eisenhower, and Friedrich von Hayek have warned us about is now blatant and a daily reality: illegal government takeover of Chrysler, GM, student loan programs from banks, banking industry, health care, internet control, FCC radio programming content, stifling of conservative speech, attack on Christianity, its symbols, and Judeo-Christian values. Private sector of our economy is shrinking every day; our economy is becoming more and more socialist. “We are all socialists now,” said Newsweek on its cover. There is nothing “shared” except misery. There is nothing “equal” under communism except poverty; doctors, lawyers, mechanics, teachers were paid the same miserable salaries and had to work in less than desirable places, dictated by the communist party upon graduation. Socialism and Communism are not “open” but repressive societies. There is no “universal healthcare,” but rationing of it. There is no “public good,” only the communist party “good” and goodies at specialized communist party-only stores. There is no “free public education” but forced indoctrination into the Marxist theory through Marxist Economics and the laughable “Scientific Socialism.” The bottom line is that socialism and communism are an idealistic utopia that degenerates quickly into a power hungry elite ruling over a subservient worker’s concentration camp.

What the left really fears in the 2012 election is that Obama will sink the Democrats because his sheer overreach has starkly revealed the left’s game plan for transforming the U.S. into the latest failed socialist state. Today, as soon as Iran explodes a bomb, Obama is going to be in deep, deep trouble with American voters. Nuclear proliferation is now happening all over the Middle East, because Arabs fear a nuclear Iran much more than a nuclear Israel. The left cannot be trusted in the War on Terror because they keep denying there is a war going on, even when our troops are fighting and dying in Afghanistan, Libya, Pakistan, and parts of Africa like Somalia. When the history of the Global War on Terror is written, it will start with Jimmy Carter, who honestly thought that bloody-minded old Khomeini was "some kind of saint," according to his UN Ambassador Andrew Young. The Shah was pro-American, and educated generations of Iranians (including women) in modern ways of thinking. When Carter allowed Khomeini to take Iran, the mullahs immediately killed off the secular opposition, tried to overthrow the Saudis next door, and ended up in a vicious war with Saddam that killed a million people. Today they control Iran, Syria, and Lebanon and they have always had tactical alliances with Sunni terror groups like Hamas, the Taliban, and Al Qaida. Afghanistan is taking huge bribes from Iran. The Iraqis are worried that as soon as the Americans leave, they will be next. Americans who are not mentally comatose today are turning against Obama, because O openly pushed Mubarak out of power in Egypt, thereby sabotaging the only effective peace treaty in the Middle East. Anybody who doesn't see that as a disaster is simply lost to reason, but a lot of liberals will never, ever get it. Just like Jimmy Carter, Obama is bringing to power the most radical Islamists in Egypt, Turkey, and the other Sunni nations. Obama has done nothing to stop Iran's ruthless march to nuclear power, so that the Saudis may now be ordering their own off-the-shelf nukes from Pakistan. China just announced that "any American attack on Pakistan would be treated like an attack on China." North Korea allowed a US nuclear scientist to visit a brand-new enrichment plant that could only have come from China. And that's only his Foreign Follies; domestically, what has Obama done? He's Carterized the economy, with inflation rising for food and gas, and economic stagnation causing almost 10% unemployment. He has constantly insulted and demoralized ordinary Americans. He is a racial divider, not a healer. He has literally given the middle digit to Hillary Clinton on television, and symbolically dissed just about everybody else, especially the most productive people in America. Obama has lost the House of Representatives for the Democrats, and that means that hungry liberals all over the country see their career prospects stymied. His plans for a second term are terrifying: like running your medical care from DC and rationing medical care for seniors, like the UK and driving doctors out of business. Imagine what people are thinking in Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, all international flashpoints where trust in American assurances has kept the peace for long decades. When Obama publicly abandons Israel, people start shaking in fear all over the world. The leftist monopoly on the news is crumbling. The new conservative media are expanding and in quality and quantity, a long-delayed response to the leftist degradation of our culture. The left is intellectually bankrupt, and the only thing keeping it alive is media control and government payoffs. The only way the left can stay in power is by monopolizing the media and the schools, to brainwash an entire nation about such little things as the history of the Cold War. Obama himself is locked in post-colonial socialism, an ideology that has been completely rejected in China, Russia, India, and much of Latin America and Africa. When Americans become serious again -- when Iran's big bomb goes off, or the Great Recession keeps going -- they will vote out Obama and the Democrats. The SEIU has just pulled out their old Communist banners, and they are tearing off the mask. ACORN is back in business. George Soros is funding all the loudest leftist fronts. Marxists are suddenly sprouting all over the campuses, like an outbreak of ugly pimples. The left is already flooding us with phony pre-election headlines and disinformation. Those are signs of panic. They can read the portents of doom in the polls. The left is strongest on hype, not substance and Alinsky taught them that the appearance of power beats real power so they are always puffing themselves up like blowfish, and trying to demoralize the rest of us… it is so much fun to watch!

A year that was supposed to mark a turning point in the Great Recession both for the US and global economy is rapidly turning into the Obama Recovery that wasn't. At a time when things were supposed to be getting better they are instead turning worse: commodity prices are eating into consumer spending, historically low interest rates haven't done a thing to help housing, and, most worrisome, the job market rebound has been stopped in its tracks. Economists busy ratcheting down their forecasts for gross domestic product, unemployment and other metrics still think growth will resume later in the year, but GDP gains, both in the US and around the world, are likely to be considerably slower than anticipated. There is some question whether we have entered another recession, or a double dip recession, but it can be best described as a growth recession. Government data showed consumer spending remains weak, pressured by food and gas prices that has been famously described as "transitory." At the same time, the Fed's zero interest rate policies and quantitative easing programs may have spurred the stock market to a stunning recovery but have done virtually nothing for housing, which has become the elephant in the recovery's living room. The ongoing decline in house prices is only causing further damage to households' balance sheets, offsetting any benefits from rising stock markets for many people. House prices are on course to fall by at least 5% this year and we don't anticipate any rebound until the second half of 2012." Pessimism remains the overarching theme, even if an outright return to recession is not part of the consensus forecast. The good news, and what likely will prevent a technical double-dip, is that corporate America is faring well. Aggressive cost-cutting through layoffs and production efficiency has resulted in healthy bottom lines, with about 68% of Standard & Poor's 500 companies beating first-quarter profit and revenue estimates. The downside remains, though, as companies use their excess profits not to hire but to do deals and issue debt at historically low interest rates. A year that began with great promise could end with recovery hopes that will have to be delayed quite a while as the Obama Recovery is the worst since the Great Depression .

Obama and his Democrat pals have been lying to America because they do not want to find a cure for America’s obviously ailing healthcare system - they want to destroy every aspect of our healthcare system, so they can rebuild it to operate under a socialist model. ObamaCare is purposefully designed to collapse Medicare and to run 25% of all hospitals out of business. In 2009, Medicare paid doctors about 80% of what private health insurance paid. Under the Democrats plan Medicare payments would decline to 57% by 2012. By 2085, Medicare would only be paying 27% of what private insurance pays. In practically every nation that has the sort of socialist healthcare system that Democrats want implemented in the USA there is a doctor shortage. This shortage occurs because fewer people bother to go into a career where they know ahead of time that government will summarily cap the amount of money they can make. This artificial cap prevents the best and brightest from pursuing a medical career. So, not only would Obama destroy a quarter of America’s hospitals, but he’d drive out of the healthcare business all the good doctors that we do have and would set up a situation where only the lowest level of doctors are created in the future. Well, it may not be the America that sane people want, but Democrats and Obama don’t want the best healthcare possible. They want the sort of healthcare of which they fully control every aspect. They want the sort of healthcare system where the people have to go hat-in-hand to politicians and beg for medicine and treatment. ObamaCare isn’t about health; it’s about a complete, socialist control of the lowly people by controlling the health care these people receive.

The last time immigration was addressed by this country was 1986, when amnesty was offered as a one time only event, contingent on the border being closed and immigration laws enforced, but 25 years later we are again trying to address the same issues with many more illegal aliens resident in our country. Americans are well aware of the fact that immigration is the subject of intense debate in the hallowed halls of Congress. We also hear that some legislative proposals would actually forgive those who have broken into America in defiance of our borders and laws, in Washington parlance, the euphemism known as “Guest Worker.” Guest worker is understood by everyone to be “amnesty,” and is totally unacceptable to a large majority of the American people. To reward those who are here illegally would only serve to invite another 30 million or so to invade, and would be an unmitigated outrage. A sensible approach to immigration reform should incorporate the ideas offered below:
· Border Control - The U.S. government must have total control over who enters the nation, where they will reside, for what purpose authorized, and date by which that individual must leave. Our borders must be secured by sufficient military troops and or national guardsmen authorized to use force as needed to prevent illegal entry into the U.S.
Temporary Worker Program
(TWP) - A
worker in a foreign nation wishing to APPLY for a TWP should be allowed to do
so, PROVIDED he/she has not been in America unlawfully within the last five
years. An American employer seeking
services from a foreign worker should, in effect, sponsor the worker. That
means assuring there is NO burden to the community by way of health care costs,
education, crime, and the like. A TWP should authorize a term of not greater than 18 months, and pertain only to the worker. (A worker’s family could cost U.S. taxpayers substantially for health care, educational and legal services systems, thereby mitigating any benefit realized by employing the worker.)
· TWP Health Benefits - Employers may choose to form cooperatives to purchase health insurance at group rates. However, any and all costs of such coverage should be absorbed by employers, not taxpayers.
· TWP Expiration - Employers must assure that the worker leaves the U.S. before expiration of the TWP. Any violations should cause the employer to be severely punished. Businesses that employ illegal aliens represent a major threat to U.S. homeland security and the war on terror. Such businesses must be punished to the full extent of the law, including severe criminal sanctions against management.
· TWP Taxable Income - All of the worker’s income should be subject to tax withholding according to procedures administered by employers.
· TWP Contract - The worker should acknowledge, in writing, his/her understanding and agreement that the TWP has a limited, non-extendable term, and that it confers no other benefits such as driver’s license, social welfare, in-state tuition breaks, or citizenship. Criminal behavior of any sort, even a misdemeanor, should require immediate deportation of the worker.
· Repeal Anchor Baby Provision - No worker on a TWP must be allowed to parent an “anchor baby.” Existing U.S. laws conferring citizenship on those born to illegal aliens must be changed, retroactively.
· Illegal Alien Handling - No reform scenario should sanction illegals currently here. Intelligent reform should require that every illegal alien be deported. America can no longer tolerate a policy whereby the immigrant decides unilaterally to invade America—-and gets away with it!
The labor needs of American business can be satisfied without jeopardizing homeland security or the economic and cultural stability of the American people. Another amnesty or “guest worker” proposal is NOT an acceptable alternative. We must secure the borders permanently, force employers to obey the law, deport those here illegally, and stop making it so easy and attractive for illegal immigrants to invade America.

America today has lost its way as a global leader because our current administration neither understands nor appreciates the power and majesty of this country’s history, culture, and traditions. The people of United States, a nation struggling to regain a sense of optimism and confidence, have, over many years, been told by the elites in American society that their country is one of an ignoble nature and history. We are told that "American Exceptionalism" is a myth which has precipitated the plunder of the planet and the exploitation of mankind throughout the world. A nation whose alleged sins have been so egregious that the current President, whose primary campaign promise was to "transform America" into a collectivist state, feels duty bound to go around the world on bended knee apologizing for those perceived transgressions. The United States has become a ship without a rudder aimlessly wandering about the turbulent seas piloted by those who only interest is themselves, their ideology and thirst for power. Yet the majority of the American people know that they have in their possession the key to a prosperous and equitable society: individual freedom and liberty concurrent with a significant constraint on the power of government. Among other things, that America is simply different from other nations. It is a nation of immigrants from every corner of the earth, a nation bound not by ancestral blood but by revolutionary ideas and beliefs brilliantly articulated more than two centuries ago in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. The founding of the United States ushered in the modern democratic experiment, along with new concepts of freedom and human rights. They also know that in the annals of mankind the true account of America's contribution to the world and it peoples is one of magnificent achievement whether freeing millions from tyranny by force of arms or improving their standard of living by fostering global economic growth and new technology. Perhaps the one thing above all others that many in the United States, particularly among the ruling class, do not appreciate is the indispensable and unprecedented role this nation has played in giving hope and a real-life vision of the blessings of true freedom and liberty to countless millions throughout the world. In the 20th century, the Greatest Generation fought for the survival of that experiment against its totalitarian enemies, Nazi, Fascist, and Communist alike. Today, the challenges posed by Islamic totalitarianism test a new generation. It is this distinctive trait among all global communities which has motivated countless American men and women over the years to willingly take up arms to defend a land they cherish and to expend blood and treasure so others can live in peace and freedom. America has been a uniquely productive nation: a font of invention, creativity, and economic dynamism. In America, tens of millions of people have risen from poverty. The United States has been a singularly generous, if not always effective, provider of assistance to other countries, including those where Americans are not popular. But, most of all, exceptionalism implies that the responsibility for global leadership rests on America’s shoulders, not because Americans hunger for power but because there is no good alternative. I am confident that once freed from the shackles of our current oppressive government as well as the misguided, egocentric, and often hostile leadership extant throughout the corridors of power, the vast majority of the people of this nation will make certain that America's best days are still ahead of it.

President Barack Obama’s foreign policy of punishing friends, rewarding enemies, and taking risks toward empowering enemies by bashing friends defines America’s first 1960s New Left President. The leftist view starts from the point that American allies were bad guys because America was also the bad guy making American allies doubly bad guys. In contrast, those opposing U.S. policy or allies notably, Latin American guerrillas; Fidel Castro; the Viet Cong (or National Liberation Front if you wish); Mao Zedong; Che Guevara; Patrice Lumumba; and so on and so forth were heroes. Thus, England or Egypt or Israel or Colombia, if you are partnered with the United States it proves you are bad. And for Venezuela, Syria, or the Palestinian Authority, the more hostile you are to America the better you are. Hence, the business of American policy should be to win over the heroic guerrillas who fight on behalf of the wretched of the earth. Remember, Obama is desperate to be popular abroad and he views popularity as giving the people abroad what they want, whether or not that’s in U.S. interests. If, for example, the “people” of the Middle East don’t want the United States to support Israel, then according to his worldview it shouldn’t. So Obama is on the side of the “masses,” whatever the masses “want.” Those who remember Nazism and Fascism and Communism, not to mention the dozens of Third World dictators who pretended to be the voice of the masses, know this. Such experiences and education did not shape Obama. Perhaps Bill Ayers could explain to him how front groups and revolutionary vanguards and the dictatorship of the proletariat work. Didn’t the Communists, Nazis, Fascists, Japanese militarists, Baathists, Nasserists, Fidelistas, the Vietnamese National Liberation Front, Tupamaros, Sandinistas, and all those other groups represent their people’s aspirations? So why isn’t it true for Hamas, Fatah, Hezballah, the Muslim Brotherhood, the dictator in Venezuela, and the one in Syria? For Obama the world is upside down from the historic American political mainstream. For him, the friends of America are bad; the enemies of America are good. From this ideology, rather than some conspiracy or secret identity, Obama does much harm. No matter how much experience he accumulates, Obama isn’t going to learn any better. In this world, Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad is a “reformer” while elected Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a reactionary who doesn’t want peace. To Obama, America has been on the wrong side, but now it will be on the “right” side and this is not some minor mistake, it is his leftist worldview.
