Today we have the establishment Republicans and the Democrat ideologues joining forces to try and quash the Tea Party, an ever-strengthening grassroots movement that arose to oppose a government that no longer serves the needs of the people. We are seeing how the leaders of both parties in Washington, D.C. have abandoned government of the people, by the people, and for the people, thinking we the people should blindly trust them to make decisions for us. The Tea Party movement, which is essentially a grassroots organizations opposed to monolithic government, has now become the main political enemy of both parties’ leadership! This is a movement that arose after three years of big government programs being passed into law, beginning with the big business bailout by the G.W. Bush administration. As a result, many people, the “silent majority,” to borrow a name from the 1970s, could no longer remain silent and began to show up in force and express their dissatisfaction at town hall meetings being held by Congressmen when they were home from Washington. The outrage was also as a result of bills being passed that no one knew what was really in them. They were also upset by Congress’s inability to control regulatory agencies who were becoming a law unto themselves with their ever-more oppressive hold on the American people as well as fed up with is out-of-control spending. The national debt is growing by trillions of dollars every year, no matter whether we have Democrat or Republican majorities in both houses Congress, or with it split between the two. The Republican leaders in the house and Senate, John Boehner and Mitch McConnell, respectively, have now decided that enough is enough, and they openly attack those who would try to stop their efforts to collaborate with the big government agenda. By taking sides in such a way, they are saying that the voice of the people no longer matters. Legislators must get in line with what their leaders are saying and no longer question them. Compromise has to be made, so settle down and shut up. Leaders of the Republicans and Democrats have come together on a compromise budget, so we need to accept it because at least we have a budget. It’s time to replace Boehner and McConnell and all the others in Washington who think that the people of this country are here to serve a centralized government in Washington rather than the other way around.

Barack Hussein Obama is a willful, indoctrinated child of the Left with strong Islamic sympathies who is not fit to govern. Obama is a historic disaster of the first magnitude and, if not restrained, he will see to the irrevocable decline of the country which foolishly elected him, leaving the world on the brink of a conflict whose repercussions cannot be underestimated. Accompanying the undeniable havoc and damage, that Obama is wreaking on his country and equally on its allies, is the sense of helplessness that overcomes one when writing or speaking about a rogue President and his destructive administration. I wondered why anyone would want to “fundamentally transform” a country which, for all its flaws, perched atop the pinnacle of success in comparison to any other country. Everything Obama has done since then has only served to confirm what was originally a deep suspicion and soon grew to become a complete certainty. No less disconcerting, those who argue that to criticize Obama is a sign of deep-dyed racism are, of course, relying on slander and misappropriation of language to protect their chosen standard bearer and his Marxist / progressivist / utopian project. What will it take to wake up the intellectuals and brainless celebrities, partisan journalists, editors, and academics that we are headed for a crisis?
· America is drowning in a state of unredeemable debt - $17 trillion in actual debt and in the vicinity of $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities.
· Our country is printing money like there’s no tomorrow while subsidizing green energy fiascos at enormous cost to the taxpayer ($90 billion in wasted stimulus funds).
· Our country is in the throes of a metastasizing race war, caused in no small degree by the President’s rhetoric and behavior and fomented by his Attorney General.
· Our country is increasingly being governed by executive fiat and by an administration rocked by a near-endless gyre of political and ideological scandals.
· Our federal government opposes voter ID, opening the door to electoral corruption.
· Our country spies on its own citizens, software corporations and web search engines, tries avowed terrorists in civilian courts, and allows its ambassador and his entourage to be killed, without reprisal.
· Our President purges its military (197 senior officers, including nine commanding generals) to ensure the continuity of his regime.
· Our country refuses to defend its borders, even suing to keep them as porous as possible.
· Our economy is shifting to the Left, now mired in the exorbitant socialist travesty of ObamaCare built on an ascending pyramid of lies and false enrollment numbers.
· This administration is lying about everything; all the time; constantly.
· Our country’s domestic agenda is predicated on the Marxist principle of redistributive economics that amounts to stealing from the productive class to maintain an ever-growing parasitical constituency.
· This country is at war with honest science, transmuting NASA into a program for Muslim outreach and buying into the Gore/Hansen/Mann-inflated, IPCC climate scam.
· This country is retreating on every front and has lost the Middle East as well as the respect of its adversaries, betraying its allies and endangering the world in the process, as in the phony, eagerly sought agreement that allows a self-described genocidal and nuclearizing Iran to keep spinning its centrifuges while profiting from relaxed sanctions.
· Meanwhile, our country has sold its loyal partner, Israel, down the Jordan River.
All this proceeds under the direction of a President who has sealed his vital documents so that very little of crucial importance is known about him. Indeed, all other reasons aside, to have conferred immense power on a public figure with so meager a track record and so thin and discontinuous a résumé defies even the most rudimentary logic. Obama’s skill is to figure out what the American people want to see and hear, and then give it to them, while doing something entirely different. American voters were ready to be taken in by a smooth-talking, shape-changing, confidence-man. America elected not to be America anymore, to fundamentally transform itself from a solvent, powerful, feared and respected nation into a quasi-European basket case. One must hope that America will come to its collective senses before it is too late, but I am afraid that it will take nothing less than a major catastrophe, a fiscal implosion that takes the “food” out of food stamps, coupled with more high-casualty terrorist attacks both abroad and on its own soil, leading to the eruption of civil unrest and the possible impeachment of the most destructive President in the entire pageant of American history before America emerges from its devastating slumber.

The United States is in very deep trouble because the concept of repaying $16.7 trillion in debt is not even a remote possibility over the next 100 years, even if the government had small surpluses, but instead the country is running such large deficits, the national debt is increasing and getting worse. In addition, the government is approximately $70 trillion in unfunded liabilities that have to be resolved.” In sum, the nation is spending more and borrowing more than it can afford. It has been doing this for a long time and the warning signs are places like Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and other European nations that, following World War Two, embraced socialism. America did so even earlier during The Great Depression and the decades since the 1930s. It is a Debt Trap and conservatives know instinctively that the U.S. government is too large and too based in socialism to survive. The four major categories driving America into the Debt Trap are income security (Social Security, welfare, and other related programs), healthcare (Medicaid, Obamacare, and Medicare), education, and housing. These programs did not exist until after the Great Depression. They came about as the result of a Keynesian view that government spending would lift the economy out of its doldrums, but government spending does nothing to improve the economy. It sucks money out of the economy and, more specifically, out of the pockets of individual citizens and the business community. Despite nearly fifty years of a Cold War with the former Soviet Union (1945-1991), Americans have been blissfully ignored its intention of the communist intention to destroy capitalism and have accepted a vast matrix of social programs that now represent over $70 trillion in unfunded financial liabilities. Even after the collapse of the Soviet Union, their plan “to overwhelm America with debt, welfare, and entitlements” - in other words, to bankrupt America has continued unabated. This will cause the collapse of America and the government could then turn to pure socialism, and this scheme has its own name: the Cloward-Piven strategy. It’s worth noting that, in addition to the socialist nations of the European Union, communism is still alive and well in Russia, China, North Korea, Venezuela, and Cuba to name just a few nations. Even Russia and China have adopted some capitalistic measures, while ensuring strong, totalitarian central governments. The nation’s print and broadcast media are little more than echo chambers for the torrent of lies that Obama administration is telling Americans about the economy. The only thing that can save America is an increase in our Gross Domestic Product (GDP), selling more goods and services, enabling an increase in employment, coupled with a vast reduction in the enormous governmental regulation of business. The vast taxation of Americans needs to be reduced in order to permit them to retain and spend their earnings, make investments, start new businesses. The annual GDP is now less than what the nation earns. The future of the nation depends on the outcome of the 2014 midterm elections and control of Congress by as many conservative candidates and office-holders is essential as the RINOs (Republicans in name only) must be replaced.

The lie of the year is “If you like your health care plan, you can keep it,” but the story of the year is a nation waking up to just how radical ObamaCare is, which is why it required such outright deception to get it passed in the first place. Obamacare was sold as simply a refinement of the current system, retaining competition among independent insurers but making things more efficient, fair and generous, but in fact, ObamaCare is a full-scale federal takeover. The entire justification for ObamaCare was a fraud from the very beginning. Since the passage of ObamaCare in 2010, many of the President’s famous promises have been routinely broken. As he so ironically threatened in 2009, “If you misrepresent what’s in this plan, we will call you out.” Here are 10 promises of ObamaCare that have already proved to be broken.
o Promise #1: “If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period.” Reality: Millions of Americans have lost and will lose their coverage due to expanded ObamaCare requirements.
o Promise #2: “If you like your doctor, you will be able to keep your doctor, period.” Reality: Many Americans might not be able to keep their current doctor without paying extra, due to significant payment reductions.
o Promise #3: “In an Obama administration, we’ll lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year.” Reality: Premiums for people purchasing coverage in the individual market have significantly increased in a majority of states, many by over 100%.
o Promise #4: “For the 85 to 90% of Americans who already have health insurance, this thing’s already happened. And their only impact is that their insurance is stronger, better and more secure than it was before.” Reality: ObamaCare imposes certain new benefit mandates on those with employer-sponsored coverage (a majority of Americans), increasing which will be directly passed on to the consumer in the form of higher premiums.
o Promise #5: “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase.” Reality: ObamaCare contains 18 separate tax hikes, fees, and penalties, many of which heavily impact the middle class.
o Promise #6: “I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits—either now or in the future.” Reality: ObamaCare’s new spending is unsustainable and a recent, more realistic assessment reveals that it will be a multi-trillion-dollar budget buster.
o Promise #7: “Whatever ideas exist in terms of bending the cost curve and starting to reduce costs for families, businesses, and government, those elements are in this bill.” Reality: Health spending is still rising and is projected to grow at an average rate of 5.8% from 2012 to 2022.
o Promise #8: “I will protect Medicare.” Reality: ObamaCare makes unprecedented and unrealistic payment reductions to Medicare providers and Medicare Advantage plans in order to finance the new spending in the law. The cuts amount to over $700 billion from 2013 to 2022.
o Promise #9: “I will sign a universal health care bill into law by the end of my first term as President that will cover every American.” Reality: Millions of Americans will remain uninsured, projected by the CBO to leave 31 million uninsured after a decade of full implementation.
o Promise #10: “So this law means more choice, more competition, lower costs for millions of Americans.” Reality: ObamaCare has not increased insurer competition or consumer choice. In the vast majority of states, the number of insurers competing in the state’s exchange is actually less than the number of carriers that previously sold individual market policies in the state.
The law was designed to throw people off their private plans and into government-run exchanges where they would be made to overpay, forced to purchase government-mandated services they don’t need, as a way to subsidize others. ObamaCare posed as a free-market alternative to a British-style single-payer system. Then, during Congressional debate, the White House ostentatiously rejected the so-called “public option,“ but that’s irrelevant because the whole damn thing is the public option. The federal government now runs the insurance market, dictating deadlines, procedures, rates, risk assessments and coverage requirements, even telling insurers to cover the claims that, by law, they are not required to, so welcome to our first taste of nationalized health care.

The global alarmists never quite got their story of fright and fear straight, because by now we should have been fried or frozen. First they warned of global warming, and when they needed a new narrative “global warming” became “climate change.” They finally settled on something they could prove because the climate does, in fact, change. There was always a scarcity of evidence that the globe was on a wild tear, but there was never a scarcity of alarm. The global-warming hysteria grew quickly after that early prediction of a scarcity of snow. Certain scientists with more ambition than sense saw opportunity lying close at hand. With the falling snow could come falling grants to pay for learned papers. Learned academics have learned that a feverish alarm, served with a dollop of hysteria, can move the learned nonsense out of the faculty lounge and into the newspapers and onto television screens. James Hansen, whose career at NASA gave him the credentials to be taken seriously even when he didn’t sound serious, predicted that in the decade after 2020 the average annual temperature would rise by 9 degrees, with more heat to come. Hansen blames everything on “climate change. The more their scam crumbles, the louder they shout its particulars. Now that events are making it clear what a scam global warming really is, advocates have been revealed as partisan opportunists, stretching the facts to support their ongoing need for research funding.
